Today was my last day/night house sitting, and I didn't have to be there until 7ish and only stayed a bit to let the dogs out and put the chickens away. But before that I had shabbat dinner at my dads, mmm store cooked Boston Market. Tomorrow is my first official day with my dads car, score! However I am going up to Towson with Jess and my dad, shes going apartment hunting since she's transferring into Towson University and they did not have adequate on-campus housing available. So that should be fun :\.
My mom is possibly getting a treadmill, after some asking for one on my behlaf, but I was thinking of paying her back if she bought one, and just a really cheap one too, something along the lines of a foldable $150 one that I'd pay her back over 3 months for, but she was thinking of something that will be worth the money and work..like along the lines of $1,000 or something. She said she'd buy it, but I'd have to start paying her for it if I didn't use it enough, so I'm hoping she'll purchase it before she leaves for her month long spiritual retreat thing on Sunday.
I'm excited, but not too hopeful because she might not purchase it. I would really like one because the path that I go on is the pebbly and uneven "road" to the Sandy Spring..spring. Add my lack of an arch and rolling ankles to the unevenness of that path and it does not serve for very good running turf. I know the XC team runs on it or has done, but my desire to harm my knees and joints is not as high as theirs I guess. Plus I think the idea of going nowhere fast somehow intrigues me and I would have no excuse not to go running because of the weather outside..since I'd be inside. And as my mom put it if all fails "we could hang clothes on it". Well I guess I should attept to get to sleep earlier than I usually do since I have to get up early tomorrow, a whopping 9:30 in the morning, when my usual wake up time is between 11:30-1:00.
Oh yeah, the new HP comes out tomorrow, its my summer reading book, yay for reading the cop out book!

Just up from there, though, is a path to Sherwood, and there's a gate you can go through to get to their fields/track. It's a pretty nice track, as far as I know (I don't claim to be a track connoisseur, but it gets the job done), and it's pretty much open for public use. Worth a shot?
